HONOR 100 and HONOR 100 Pro with 120Hz curved OLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 / 8 Gen 2, 5000mAh battery announced

HONOR has just announced the HONOR 100 and HONOR 100 Pro smartphones at an event in China, as promised. The phones feature a unique design inspired by Art Nouveau and Gaudí’s architecture, with the HONOR 100 showcasing Natural Art Curves resembling moon phases.

Both models sport quad-curved OLED displays—the HONOR 100 with a 6.7-inch panel and the HONOR 100 Pro with a 6.78-inch screen. The displays offer a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. They also include Honor Oasis Eye Protection Screen, in-screen fingerprint scanners, and TÜV Rheinland global certification.

The rear designs differ, with the HONOR 100 having a rectangular camera module, and the Pro featuring an oval-shaped module. For selfie photography, the standard HONOR 100 has a 50MP front camera, while the Pro model features a dual selfie camera—50MP and 2MP depth lens.

Both models offer SLR-level photography, thanks to their OIS-enabled Sony IMX906 50MP primary camera. The HONOR 100 has a dual-camera setup with a 12MP ultra-wide lens that also offers macro capability, while the Pro boasts a triple-camera setup with a 32MP telephoto lens supporting 2.5x optical zoom.

In terms of performance, the HONOR 100 is fueled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro model features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Both support up to 16GB of RAM and offer storage options of up to 512GB (standard) or 1TB (Pro model).

Additionally, they are equipped with a wide-area stainless steel bionic VC for ultra-high thermal conductivity at 4572mm². Both devices pack a robust 5000mAh battery with 100W HONOR SuperCharge support, while the Pro model also features 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge support.

Both phones support 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and come with Honor’s C1 radio frequency enhancement chip. The HONOR 100 Pro features dual stereo speakers, runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13, and supports AI human-computer interaction, including features like breath wake-up and flip-to-scan.
