The Brezza is still available in four trim levels: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. Automatics are possible starting with the VXI variant, and they cost Rs 1.5 lakh more than manual grades. However, unlike previously, the ZXI now also offers the option of dual-tone colors for a surcharge of Rs 16,000
2. Exterior Styling
Due to a comprehensive design overhaul, the 2022 Brezza now has a sharper and more assertive appearance. It maintains a boxy design, but the thicker body armour gives it a tougher appearance. A new grille, sleek dual projector LED headlights, twin L-shaped LED DRLs, and trendy wrap-around LED taillights are also added to the vehicle. The bumpers have also been modified. Additionally, Maruti has ditched the Vitara name and now proudly displays the “Brezza” badge between the tail lamps.
3. Interior Styling
The cabin also receives a thorough makeover, giving it a contemporary, upscale appearance. The new Baleno served as an inspiration for the fundamental dashboard layout and floating infotainment system. With brushed silver elements flowing in a ‘T’ form through the dashboard and center console, it is finished in a dual-tone black and brown theme.
4. New Features
With a new free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system (from the Baleno), connected car technology with limited remote control, an Arkamys-tuned audio system, wireless charging, a head-up display that is a segment-first, an electric sunroof (first for a Maruti vehicle), and a flat-bottom steering wheel, the Brezza is now much more feature-rich. It continues with features like cruise control, automatic AC, rear AC vents, automatic headlights and wipers, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. But the set would have been complete with ventilated seats.
5. New Safety Features
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will be fitted with a 360-degree camera and up to six airbags for safety. All trims now come equipped with ESP (electronic stability program) and hill-hold assistance. Other noteworthy components include ISOFIX child-seat mounts, rear parking sensors, and ABS with EBD.
6. Updated Powertrains
The Brezza is available with the most recent version of Maruti’s 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, mild-hybrid K-series engine. A 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission is also available, although the 5-speed manual transmission that comes standard with the engine produces 103PS and 137Nm. With paddle shifters for manual control, the automatic replaces the 4-speed torque converter. The automatic models promise up to 19.8 kmpl while the manual variants claim to be up to 20.15 kmpl efficient.
7. New Colours
Three dual-tone colors are among the nine color options the automobile manufacturer offers for the Brezza. These are what they are:
- Pearl Arctic White
- Sizzling Red with black roof
- Splendid Silver with a black roof (New)
- Brave Khaki with white roof (New)
Silver, Grey, and Blue colors arrive in a different shade from those that were previously offered, despite the fact that the Brave Khaki is a brand-new color option.
